TORONTO, ONTARIO — (May 12, 2016) – Kaihen was delighted to present the inaugural Ontario Excellence in Outage Communications Award to Hydro One Networks at its annual Client Cocktail Reception. The award celebrates utilities who have demonstrated best in class outage communications systems, call centers, and communication channels. Utilities were nominated by participating in the Kaihen Outage Communication Benchmark Survey and ranked based on their Outage Communications Maturity Model score across eight categories. Other nominees present at the Reception were Burlington Hydro, Veridian Connections, Oakville Hydro, Horizon Utilities, and Enersource.
The inaugural award was presented by Kaihen Advisory Board Member, David McFadden. Those in attendance included leaders from Local Distribution Companies and the Kaihen partner community.
