Job Summary

Our boutique consulting firm requires a CIS Lead to join our growing Customer Operations practice area.  This is a key role in our organization and comes with an opportunity to be part of Kaihen’s Management Team.  We’re interested in somebody who has the ability to take on both advisory roles and a detailed hands-on approach on projects, will travel to client meetings as required, and has access to fully equipped home office. The candidate must have interest in joining an entrepreneurial, growing firm and be a good cultural fit with personality, ethics, and work style.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Support the leadership of Kaihen’s Customer Operations service offering area
    • Ownership of Kaihen’s CIS and Customer Experience (CEx) related methodologies
      • Develop, improve, maintain methodologies, approaches & toolkits
      • Develop integration, PM, Testing, conversion, cutover, integration, CM, BP, Training methodologies for CIS projects
      • Continue to build database of CIS-related client deliverables & library of leverageable meter-to-cash materials
    • Support CIS and CEx related sales opportunities identified by Kaihen – proposals, meetings, formal presentations
      • Support Business Development (BD) Directors
      • Participate in BD related calls & activities
      • Contribute to CIS and CEx intellectual property – CIS Series and other marketing
      • Maintain Kaihen’s Canadian CIS database of information
      • Represent Kaihen at conferences, identify speaking opportunities
    • Support Kaihen CIS consultant staffing plan
      • Assess consultant capabilities & competency requirements
      • Build an education program for Kaihen consultants regarding CIS delivery
      • Support Kaihen recruiting effort for full-time and contract CIS consultants
  1. CIS and CEx delivery on client initiatives
    • Project manage and/or advisory role for CIS assessment or evaluation & selection engagements
    • Lead meter-to-cash diagnostics, business process reviews or revenue assurance assessments
    • CIS implementation project management, functional architect, team leadership or senior BA role on Utility client initiatives
    • Oversee Kaihen’s delivery of CIS-related services on client projects
      • Provide guidance and mentorship to Kaihen consultants
      • Ensure consistent approach, leverage lessons learned & meet client expectations
      • Identify new or extension opportunities with that client
  1. Support internal practice building
    • Join Kaihen’s management team (weekly & monthly meetings)
    • Input to Kaihen’s annual tactical plans and 5-year strategic planning
    • Support account management & CIS-related BD planning
    • Help build a strong, supportive, enjoyable culture
