Kaihen is pleased to announce the initiation of their Advisory Board. Mr. Ralph Gardiner, Mr. Gordon Fife and Mr. Rod Hooktwith have all agreed to be members of Kaihen’s Advisory Board. “The addition of Mr. Gardiner, Mr. Fife and Mr. Hooktwith to the Kaihen team brings added experience, professionalism and credibility to our firm. As a senior executive for the past twenty years, Mr. Gardiner has performed Branch Operations management and Industry Practice leadership in the management consulting and systems integration services business. Specializing in the Energy & Utilities (E&U) industry over the past 14 years, he has been the Lead Partner of the Canadian E&U practice at both PwC and IBM, accountable for the group’s financial success and steady growth. Mr. Gardiner has also served on the Senior Leadership Team with full oversight of the complete management consulting division. He has led and participated in major business transformational initiatives for Utility clients, possesses an in-depth understanding of the client’s business and their pressing issues and focuses on the provision of system and process solutions that deliver the optimum in business results. Mr. Gardiner said, “I am delighted to join Kaihen’s Advisory Board. The company is already well established, with a strong reputation in the Utilities and Telco industries. I hope my experience and consulting background can further assist the company in its steady growth trajectory.”
Mr. Fife is the Chief Executive Officer of McGuffin Partners, a business strategy and asset management company. He has over twenty-five years of management experience in a variety of industries. As Executive Vice President of Barrick Gold Corporation, he was responsible for the company’s operating strategy, business structure, merger integration and lean manufacturing. Mr. Fife was a principle with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their strategic change practice, where he worked on business transformations, restructurings, turnarounds, and merger integrations.
Mr. Hooktwith has had a 30-year career working with large corporations, such as Hudson’s Bay, CIBC, AT&T Canada, Direct Energy in customer care and back office operations. He has extensive experience in business process outsourcing, business continuity & disaster recovery planning, corporate quality initiatives and change management processes. Mr. Hooktwith has significant experience in start-up companies addressing deregulated markets such as Telecom and Retail Energy. Currently, he is President of a medium size investment firm specializing in consumer non-performing loan portfolios.
